Is It Safe To Use Limewire?

I want to know, is it safe to use Limewire?
Here are the two problems I've noticed:
1. Threats of being sued by RIAA
2. Trojans and Viruses.
Neither of those problems seem to make Limewire very helpful. When downloading songs, it's a really bad idea to allow copyrighted material on the internet. If you're downloading popular music, with major-labels being the company behind the music, it's an extreme risk to get a suit by the RIAA.
At this point, it's almost better to just buy the songs from iTunes, or, better yet, find an online gift of iTunes songs.

it used to be very good no viruses but now it has soo many viruses, wen i search for a program or a song it shows half the result of viruses and spywares so i dont use it anymroe i only use it for songs, but for programs and videos i use BITCOMET very good.
