When you go to eat out what do you see first before ordering?Price or the dish?

I definitely look at the prices first and see if they are realistic with what I want to order. Sometimes the prices can be really scary and I have no choice but to order something else. I don't enjoy spending a lot in restaurants because I would feel guilty afterwards spending that much money when I might be able to use it better in other ways. I don't even go out and have dinner now because I live on a tight budget and I don't think it's wise for me to spend like that. And indeed, I feel quite happy that I don't have to wait in line, listening to other people's talking while I am eating, and got scared by the prices.

good question!! i have favourites when i go out...depends on the restaurant...but i usually stick to those...but funny, i ask my hubby if thats ok if i get it when we go out...so i guess my concern is with the price formost...

I too look at the price first before ordering. I think only the rich can afford to eat at a fine restaurant and don't care at all for the price.

I know exactly what you mean. The first thing I look at the menu would also be the price. My hubby ,on the other hand, is just like yours. He does not have the habit of looking at prices and he also tends to over order food. I get mad at him over this as well :)

As for me I will look out for two thing price and is there any new food menu, I like to eat something new.

first i ask for the menu, then i see it for my favourite dish and i wiil see the price and going to order it.

I tend to pick out the ones i like and then go for one of the cheaper options
