I used to be a member of Ebay, I sold many thjings and purchased lots too. I ran an Ebay store and built a very large feedback reputation at 99.7% (can please everyone). I thoroughly enjoyed being part of a florishing community and providing a service to others, also enjoyed non the less all the bargains availible and hard to source items.
However, I became a victim of fraud, someone somehow managed to get hold of my details and make fraudelent purchases and such. It wasn't long before my days with Ebay came to end. Ebay was my bread and butter and considered to be my future. I tried everything to prove that I was indeed innocent to no avail...
Recently I found ebid which is also an online auction site. Not as large as Ebay (yet) but is worldwide and has thousands of offers.
The good thing is about ebid is that it costs 0 to list your items. This I find very attractive, ebay charges you for everything. Granted I paid via direct debit on time all of the time but the charges were non the less high.
I can now sell more on ebid at so much less than before.
I am in no way trying to promote ebid or talk down Ebay, I am sharing with you my experiences and would like to hear about yours too, good or bad
Thank you in advance

powersellersunite.com is a great place where you can find out info on all sorts of alternatives to ebay. Some are even free.

Thanks for the tip. I am a seller on Ebay, Amazon, and Half.com but I'm constantly looking for alternatives that are affordable, ie cheap or next to free.
