Can you buy happiness with MONEY?

Money can't buy happiness but it can help keep happiness. People often fight with each other because of money matters but if people have enough money for their needs it's more less likely that they fight with each other. So for me, money helps maintain happiness in the relationship.

It is hard to say,I think sometimes we can buy happiness with money,but this HAPPINESS will not last for long time,and also,we can buy relationships but not true love.

happiness can not be bought. It is for free. There many ways by which you can be happy. Of course you can not ignore either that when you buy a expensive gift for your loved one would certainly maker her happy but not entirely because of the gift but because she knows how important she is to you and you are willing to make the sacrifice of letting go of a huge amount of money just for her...it is the sacrifice that you did that made her happy so role here money is an instrument a sacrifice that you have let go to make your dear feel how important she is to you.

Hello,mymytri,i think Icannot buy happiness with money. I will be happy to have a simple life,materials to me are not really important,as long as i can support my basic needs and have a happy family,i will be satisfied even i do not have much money. Money cannot buy friendship,health and love,if you have them,you may not need money to be happy. Happy posting:)

Money can't buy happiness. It must coming within. I don't think that money would hurt in life for such things as comfort, style, ect. I think a good family, a good set of morals, and a good sense of self-worth is all it takes to achieve happiness. I know a woman, who isn't rich by far, that thinks that that next purchase will truly make her happy. In the end, it makes her more miserable because the better thing just came out and had she not bought that particular item before the newest one came out, she could get the newest item. It is so sad, because she doesn't see that the happiness in front of her face. I tried to get her to sit down and watch the Pursuit of Happiness with Will Smith and she wouldn't. That movie there really gets you to think that money doesn't buy the happiness you think it does, it is family that gives you joy and happiness.

money can make us happy because we can buy the things that we want and even help us improve ourselves.But this is for the meantime only.Time will come that you'll feel the emptiness inside especially if there's somnthing that you wanted in your life that money can't buy.

I would have to say NO. I would be miserable if all I had was money. My reason for getting up in the mornings are the love of all my loved ones and I could not live without them, even if I had money.

Well, do you think most rich people are happy because they have all the money and they could buy everthing that they ever wanted? No, mymytri. :) These people struggle to make more money that they have even forgotten what they are living for. This is what I believe in. Money cannot buy happiness. Trust me, even rich people have everthing they wanted, a mansion, luxurious cars, millions of dollars, there would still be something missing in their life. :) Happiness is found within ourselves. Should be given to other people without waiting for something in exchange.

Good, healthy and successful relationships with family, friends and other bring us happiness and money is only supplementary for it. YES YOU ARE 100% RIGHT. i have a friend who goes for older and richer guys. she doesnt care about her feelings bout him or watsover. all she ever thinks of is living in luxury. i didnt thought she'll end up well but they got married & have two kids already. sometime money can buy you happiness, the only problem is wether you can adjust your life to it or not. its happiness but in a different way.

Money can't buy you Love, Happiness and true relationship.. Money is not everything in life... Money you can get with your hard work and dedication but happiness you get get from good health and true relationships..

i think you definitely can't buy happiness with money. that's not true, pure and sincere happiness then. even if i have a lot of money but i'm still not happy even though i have so many things, then what's the use? happiness is more important, money is good and we all need it..but not to the extent that we need to be greedy and have all the money in the world..

Money can buy Happiness. But Money cant buy Peace of Mind. There is a great difference between Happiness and Peace of Mind. What you get when you have a good relation is Peace of Mind. When you have Peace of Mind, Happiness comes along with it. But not vice versa. Also, the happiness that comes with Money is just Temporary and short lived. But the peace of mind you get with having proper relationships will last forever.

We can't buy happiness without money in our present day fast day fast track material life. Happiness without money may be possible only for sages. Money is an instrument to get the happiness. How we are using an instrument will decides the level of happiness of unhappiness. For example Retail theraphy may not give the happiness to a middle class person who is earning only few thousands. It may give only the temporary symptom of happiness. Later on he will worry about hs exceeding expenses. Using an instrument(money) in an intelligent way will ensure the happiness. We can buy happiness with money if we know the value of money and clear ideas about our exact need in that situation. We have to arrive to tradeoff between the need and value. If we spend in a worthy way we will be happy.

Honestly we can't live without money, in a way since it is our means. I think what makes you happy is that you are contented and satisfied of what you have, like in a relationship, and being a person. You can all material things but you can't buy the feeling of a human being.

Obviously money wont be worth if we dont have the right relationships,friends etc to live with. but i feel if we are smart enought to make enought money u will also be smart enought to identify people who deserves ur time.. when u achieve that u will find happiness in the money u have earned...
