I am now a second year college! Tomorrow, I don't know how to feel ha ha.
I've been schooling for almost 13 years and still, the first day is the most freaky day ha ha!I will wake up early ion the morning.
So early that I have to wake up at 4, leave the house at 5 and then manage the rest of 2 hours in the public transportation vehicle. heck. ha ha!The road in our way to school is under construction that's why it will take me two hours before to get to school.
I wish I will not be late at my first day as a Sophomore. I don't want to be the center of attraction and also, I don't want to give the professors a wrong information about me.
I don't want them to think that I am irresponsible and will be the pain in their heads for the rest of the year ha ha ha!
I am, really excited to see my classmates, my friends, my crush ha ha!
well, sophomore life, here I come! ha ha ha ha ha!

discussions like this will make us realize that we have indeed acquired so much age. my youngest son should have graduated from college last year had he not stopped schooling. life has its rewards for all of us if we will just keep on striving. as for you roniroxas, i hope that your child will be just fine, too. for our friend here, i am happy to note that she has never lost her excitement for attending school.

ya,good luck to your first day as a sophomore!
I have lost this kind of feeling for a long time. you know, as a phd student, we have not too many classes, and what we should do is just to stay in our offices or Labs. most of our daily life is spent in the front of the computer or in the Lab. we get up later in the morning, and work till, even after, midnight. that's our lives. I'll graduate in the next month, and begin my new life in a university. maybe it is impossible for me to have the feeling just like you.
Really wish to go back to the undergraduate life.
en, it seems a long journey for you to get to the campus, but I think it will be okay because you are excited for your first day! and the excitment would make you feel easy on the way.

Good luck with your schooling! That is strange to hear for me because where I live the kids are graduating and then have about 2 1/2 months off for the summer! (before starting a new session. Do you go to school all year long?

I miss my school days, I hope I'm still studying. It's nice to be in school everyday. We learn new things from our teachers, classmates and experiences. I guess it's natural to feel that way specially on your first day in school. Most people feel the same with you. You'll meet new classmates, new professros and of course new lessons. i miss being in school, too. i graduated in college last march of 2000. 7 long years had passed and i miss going to school.
well, i'll be going to study the swedish language when i get to sweden. so, it feels good to know that i'll be going to school again!... anne

Well, good luck to you my fellow Thomasian. Don't you worry the "first days" of school will end up with professors still having their vacation hangovers. So in other words, no professors on the first day. Believe me, I speak from experience. I have been there, i have done it too. Usually, classes will be starting after this week. So don't you worry, you won't be late tomorrow because there is nothing to be late about. He he he.

i wouldn't know that much with regards to the Faculty of Arts and Letters, but in Commerce, the first week isn't that hectic yet. don't you worry, first days are always cool.. simply because of new classmates and meeting up with old friends. Oh by the way, don't forget your registration form tomorrow. He he he

yup. you don't need to feel freaky during the first day of school. go and get excited! you have so many things to be happy about. not all people are able to have the opportunity to go to school.

Very true, I think my biggest problem has been I don't know what I want to be when I grow up, LOL 52 and I'm still not there - I've changed my major 4 times now and actually thinking of changing again. I have all of my general courses out of the way and could go in about any direction I wanted if I could decide. Plus marriages, kids, numerous moves have played a part also. I am determined to someday finish - I love going to school, always have, maybe I'll just be a life long student.

Well good luck to you! I hope you would have a great year and make a lot of new friends. I can't imagine though having to commute 2 to 4 hours day. My gosh! I am sure glad that my school is just 10 minutes away from home. LOL! I remember during college that I will go home for lunch from 12:00 noon to 1:30 p.m. which enabled me to save my allowance.

Awww mskzalameda, I don't envy you. 2 hours of transportation? Seriously, what course are you taking then? I graduated last year you know, LOL!

Congrats, now you obviously have the first day behind you, and the "real" life begins, with all professors, classes etc. Enjoy it! I did enjoy the etc. so much that I was fired from the University in my last year LOL! Hopefully you'll be careful with etc., and pay the most attention to professors and classes, OK? Of course, I finished it later, and the second one also, so I have 2 degrees now. But sometimes it's still nice to think back on my student years, when we were all young and wild LOL!

student life is the best part of our lives. how i wish i can be a student again. it is not that i did not do well in school, i had always been a good student. also, if given a second chance at schooling, i know that it will be another course that i will be taking. i have a profession which best fit males.
anyway, make good in school and i hope that you will always be in school early. i can see taht you are attending a day school. during my time, college classes start in the afternoons and last till late in the evenings. most of the good instructors are part time ones. you know about those practising lawyers, engineers and accountants who teach some college subjects after work? there used to be so plenty of them then.
good luck and i hope that this school year will be a good one for you.

Well,at the end of this July,I will end my sophomore period and become a junior student.That means that I will have lots of new classes.ha ha ha,cool!
I couldn't remember my feeling on the first day as a sophomore.LoL.Because at that time,I just involved myself into the sweet memory of the summer vacation.LoL
Enjoy your sophormore life.And someone told me that all the female sophomores are the most beautiful students in the campus.So have a good time about your new period!
