In the past ,chinese did not like keep pets,but now is different why people enjoy keep pets?

Here in Canada most people have pets and grow up with pets. They are a part of the family. They give unconditional love and keep you company when you are down. A little love and affection goes a long way and as long as you love your pet they will love you too.
