Do you think that those born in an alcoholic family will also become alcoholics themselves?
Or do you think that seeing their alcoholic family everyday will keep them from drinking?
Do you think that is runs in the blood, generation to generation, or is just an outside influence?
My biological father was an alcoholic, but I never knew him due to his suicide.
I too love to drink very much, but I am far from an alcoholic.
I have my drinks 3-4 nights a week, but if I had to go without, I would have no problem. So I do not think I am an alcoholic.
I do not think alcoholism is hereditary, but I have heard this many times.
So tell me your opinions?
