Don't get me wrong. Dad's are the best! But, not everyone can afford really expensive father's day gifts. So, I was wondering, do you think it's alright to be cheap on Father's day? Do you think he would understand? Are there any home-crafted Father's Day gifts that could be made for less than ten dollars? Please share your frugal father day ideas.

I am not planning to be cheap, but there are only some things that I can afford so it's not like I have a limitless budget, either. I don't think the cost of anything should be important when giving any kind of gift. If it is, then it takes away from the meaning of a gift. I think that you give what you can, it's a show of what you can do with your means for someone who means a lot. I think that someone who is a father should definitely understand that and be more interested in the meaning and the thought into the gift. I mean, you can make picture frames, head to a craft store and make a number of things that could be used as gifts for less. Head to a local craft store and check things out, you might be surprised what kind of ideas you might come up with. Tie racks, frames, etc. Good luck!

I think fathers like mothers don't really care what the gift is as long as it is from the heart. I think fathers day should be more for telling your dad how much he means to you more than how much you can afford. I think for fathers day I will give him a big hug.
