money cannot really buy happiness. but i think it would depend on how you perceive happiness. if you have money you can buy anything you want then perhaps it makes you happy. if it means having friends even with less money then that's happiness. but i'm sure not all that have money are happy.

MOney cannot buy happiness. The world is already full of rich but unahappy people, people who have so much money they don't know what to do with it and so get themselves thrown into jail for things like drunk driving and so on.
However, money can rent quite a bit of happiness. Being broke is also no fun and between being too rich or too poor, I'd go for the former.

I think if money is your only problem, then a full bank account will fix your problems and you'd be very happy. But most people have so many other problems that money alone won't fix anything, that's why so many lottery winners end up miserable.

I remember when my hubby and I were first living together. We had nothing but a roof over our heads. I can remember one morning we were walking home from work since we couldn't afford car insurance or even the bus home. So we walked and walked and laughed about the upcoming weekend and how we had absolutely no money. Then he found $5 bill in the gutter, we thought we had struck it rich.
Now we have some money and our car is insured and I can't say that we are any more or less happy then we were that morning when we had nothing. We always had each other and that is what makes us happy. Life is easier with money but money isn't what makes me happy.

As for me, in such a way, money has an effect to happiness, because as of this time, money fulfills ones satisfaction and that satisfaction gained through happiness, maybe of being wealthy, wherein they were capable to purchase thing they''d longed for. but happiness comes in many forms and i know money would not really result in a total happiness of one person.

It's one thing to want more money and another to have it. Money won't buy happiness. If you have money you also have to pay for it, meaning if you live in a house and pay bills, part of that cash will go to pay for what you need. Sometimes emergencies happen and you need to pay for things, so money once again is needed. Money is not always vacations and spend spend spend, money is a use for everything in life. Yes, money can make one happy, but they also have to know how to save it, and use it wisely, otherwise one will go bankrupt. Money affects us in a variety of ways, if we do it right, we will always have it, if not it's fault of our own.

To have idle source of income such as bank interest, it curbs the activity of a person, he or she becomes lethargic and will have nothing to do except eating or outing, where as in business, you are always busy and have man to man contact, alot of mental work, and your activities in business promote the economy of others, also if you are rich in trade you can help needy and poor, it will make you happy.
