its when i tell people that I'm going to do something, and they scoff and tell me that there's no way i'm gonna be able to do it, that i get motivated enough to accomplish what it is that i set out to do. people's unbelief can be a good thing, because it can motivate you to show them how wrong they are ;)

For this situation I'd advice that you watch "The persuit of happiness" by will smith and his son he said something that really touched me, Some people will convince you that you cant do something just because they were not able to do it themselves. Remember we are all different and yes you should consider it as a motivation because its only you who knows yourself not them.

nice! i have not seen that movie although i have heard that it really is good. maybe i'll go rent that next time i'm in the video store. and you are right...thinking about the many times in my life when i allowed people's lack of confidence or my lack of confidence in myself deter me from doing the things that i wanted to do...we'll it's a little bit sad. but there's no such thing as too late right? since putting myself in this mindset i've been doing things i thought i'd never do! thanks for the response!

yeah true...im usually a lazy guy not actually motivated by much happening around me...But when they make fun of me or look down of me as u said,i get restless enough to spend days and night without sleep or any other activities, just to prove them wrong
