Ratings

I'm new to mylot, but the best i can gather, the little numbered stars by peoples names correlate how many good responses or discussions they've posted. The numbers go up and down as they are rated + or - i guess. So if you give a + rating, you'll boost their overall rating, give a - and you lower it. I dont know how the best response works, but i assume it will boost that persons rating also.
