Why is it that some words just sound so much better in other languages?

Maybe it's just that I've been speaking it for my entire life(just about), but to me English seems to be a really boring language. Today I was spacing out while waking up, staring at a food label and reading all the nutrition facts on some food I was eating. Proteìna sounds much better and tastier than protein, doesn't it?

Maybe it's because English is really common now. Almost everyone speaks it and majority of the people is used to it. It lost its novelty a long time ago.
