Do you have a nickname? My real name is Denise, but I have always been called Deni, which I prefer. At work, they even put Deni on my nametag.
Has anyone ever called you a nickname you hated?
There is a woman at work who insists on calling me Dee. I hate that name, always have, and over the years there have been a few people who have called me that. I find it quite irritating, that is NOT my name. The first time she did it, I didn't answer, not realizing that she was talking to me. And I thought, ok, maybe if I don't answer when she calls me that, she will get the hint. But she hasn't. I think I am just going to tell her to please not call me that.

Not that I don't mind being called skippy but I don't really hop. I'm more of runner, I don't think skippy ran right? hehe

I have a two nicknames right now. One my parents gave me and one my partner gave me. My parents call me EJ because of my first and middle initial. There's also a story behind how I got my name but I won't go into that. And the one my partner gave me is one I like to keep to myself because it's sweet.

I have two first names which makes my nickname KC, tnen I added two Es which makes it Kcee. So far, no one has ever called me another nickname other than Miss K (kay), or Case, which are both fine with me. I think it's best that you call that person's attention because I thinks she's still under the presumption that it's okay to call you that.
