Leave aside bruises, some time u observe scratches or marks on ur arms and shoulders. They are stretch marks. When your body grows inappropriately to the skin, the skin gets stretched to accomidated the grown muscle. In this process you get marks and they are forever.

Sure.
I've woke up and I found many, I actually didn't before my wife and shared a bed so I just blamed her. Turns out to be a good guess because she's like Freddy Kruger, actually I woke up bleeding ones because the she lashed my cheek..
Wasn't that bad (wise) but the blood did wake me up.
Can't stand the smell..

This is not my problem; but, it is my husband's.
We tracked it down to the fact that he scratches himself in his sleep. His scratches are all on his arms, legs, and stomach. He moisturizes and the only time he itches when he is awake is when he has a scab that is healing. But, sometimes he will just scratch and scratch while he is sleeping.
We don't know why.

Speakeasy thanks for sharing this. It makes snese though, when you can't figure out how the scratches did get there. I'm currently healing from scratches on the back of my shoulder and I just can't imagine even if I scratch in my sleep it would be there when there are many more convenient spots and for me those unexplained scratches are usually in tough to moisturize spots on my back.

I tend to find bruises that I can't explain how they got there. Occasionally I'll find a scratch that I can't account for, but mostly it is a bruise. My mom is the same way, but hers can be explained. She has something that makes a slightest nudge turn into a bruise. But for me, it's a mystery. Someone will point to my arm and say, "What did you do?" And I have no idea.

This often happens to me, I wake up and find a bruise on my leg or a scratch on my arm. I really am stumped, sometimes I think I may hit the metal-ish rail things on the headboard of my bed with my arm, but I'm a fairly light sleeper so if that's the case, I figure it should wake me. It's so weird!
