Can average individual influence would-be criminals not to harm them

With subliminally engineering the language of thought coupled with a triggering mechanism (i.e. Conscious Ego being threatened, bruised and or punctured)I have experienced it being possible. What do you think? Imagine being safe from being harmed or harming anyone. Would you investigate the possibility?
