Vegetarian

Does it really help being a vegetarian? People who are vegetarian are less prone to diseases than the ones who don't. Please clarify.

I think it is good to be vegetarian since all you get to eat is vegetables which are pretty healthy but I think too that somehow, man needs to eat meat to balance the nutrients he got from the food.

yes it helps being a veg , because a vegetarian food does not contain that extra fat , which is very bad . Veg food is easy to digest also , people who are veggies are less prone to diseases also and its for sure being a veg keeps your health better than non veg
