If you think your friend's in trouble, should you help?

A friend in need is a friend indeed might sound like a cliche, but it is very true. the definition of friendship according to Indian saints is "One who helps without being asked, who hides our faults and highlights our virtues, who stands in front of us in times of trouble and behind us when we get honour - like the sword and shield

i will tell my friend what is going on, the possible things to happen if she/he goes unaware there are lot of things you can do a good shaking might wake your friend up

There is only so much a friend can do for a fellow friend but I would do anything I could do for any of my friends, I think this is all part of being a good friend...being there in times of need...

Hi dear friend, I first look wheather the situation is serious or not. Serious which I mean, when he slipped down and he may die or broke hand or leg. If no any serious i will wait to see that seen. And can, i will take a movie starting from that slipping. And first publish between the pupils who know me and him. If the situation is serious, no doubt i will try to save him or her at my best........ If i am also in trouble, i will first try to secure my life. If it is my parents or siblings, no doubt i will try to save them instead of looking my life. I think thats quite natural. I describe here only my things. I think all of us are also like me. No other possibility i think......... This discussion is too much meaning full, Some joke to serious type. Thank you very much dear friend for starting such a interesting discussion.

Of course you should try to save him/her if you are really good friend. But if it seems no harm at all, maybe sometimes this can be a joke :)

i would let them know but dont push to hard cause you could push them away. let them know you care and if they need you, you will be there for them

I will try to save him/her. I can't bear seing him/her in that situation without doing anything. It's our instinct that drives us to do the deed and adrenalin rush.

If you knew and just waited to see what happens then I guess you are no friend at all. Of course I will save her and say it straight away. I never wanted my friend to get hurt or disappointed. =)
