A friend in need is a friend indeed might sound like a cliche, but it is very true. the definition of friendship according to Indian saints is "One who helps without being asked, who hides our faults and highlights our virtues, who stands in front of us in times of trouble and behind us when we get honour - like the sword and shield

Hi dear friend,
I first look wheather the situation is serious or not.
Serious which I mean, when he slipped down and he may die or broke hand or leg. If no any serious i will wait to see that seen. And can, i will take a movie starting from that slipping. And first publish between the pupils who know me and him.
If the situation is serious, no doubt i will try to save him or her at my best........
If i am also in trouble, i will first try to secure my life.
If it is my parents or siblings, no doubt i will try to save them instead of looking my life.
I think thats quite natural.
I describe here only my things. I think all of us are also like me. No other possibility i think.........
This discussion is too much meaning full, Some joke to serious type. Thank you very much dear friend for starting such a interesting discussion.

i would let them know but dont push to hard cause you could push them away. let them know you care and if they need you, you will be there for them

If you knew and just waited to see what happens then I guess you are no friend at all. Of course I will save her and say it straight away. I never wanted my friend to get hurt or disappointed. =)
