Yesterday I responded to a discussion about gun control in the U.S. which most of the people responding weretotally against gun control. Whereas I firmly believe that there is only one purpose in having a gun and that is to kill people.
The second ammendment was written in 1791 to allow MILITIA to be armed and defend against problems which existed over 200 years ago, if it had been repealed when that emergency was over, then the U.S. could be a much safer place now. We would not have the children regularly being murdered in schools that is still happening today. One of the responses I got was that if some of the children at Columbine High or Virginia Tech were armed then less people would have died - In a shootout like that there is a chance that even more INNOCENT children could be killed. Two wrongs (or two guns) don't make it right.
What I noticed was that my rating had been increasing again, after dropping. Immediately after putting my point of view, I noticed my rating had dropped again. It looks to me that not only do these people not allow any criticism at all about guns they give negative ratings to anyone who opposes them.
