can you get bugged in skype?

Hi! three days ago, I used downloaded skype. After one day, I got seriously caught by a virus and had to reprogram my computer. Can you really get a virus from skype?

hey! i download it from skype official website.. so no problem with it. where are you download from,..? be careful ! when you download it from 3rd party website.. what is your skype id..?

I downloaded it from the official website. BUt I'm not sure if the virus was from skype becuase one of the bot programs in my computer was prone to an internet virus. Anyway, I just want to check out where the virus entered. My skype ID is intinzic. :)

thank for the id.. i will make you a prank call ! ha!ha! so, have you got yuor new copy of skype..? are you using anti-virus for protection..? i am using f-secure for my computer protection. maybe you can take a look at f-secure website.. see ya!!!

I'm gonna anticipate that prank call..hahaha.. I've not installed skype yet. I'm still figuring out where the virus entered; but I'm planning to install skype asap. thanks for the advice! I'll check out the inti-virus. see yah in skype! :)

hmm?? skype has virus? what kind of antivirus do u use? i recommended kaspersky.. =) light and reliable..

I don't know what do you with it? maybe you got a file from someone in skype trough file transfer, I don't think skype come with a virus, I have never heard about it before I think since you are using panda like antivirus you are having a fake virus alert or maybe you got it from a web site, I don't know why you are pretty sure that the virus come with skype it is very strange, I don't believe it would come with skype, by the way what happened with that virus and what to do that virus, I have find a lot of people that take a simple alert like a virus, and many time it is a fake alert, I don't trush much in antirus, but I like the antispyware they are pretty good and fix a lot of problem in your web browser.
