I don't mean what thing or what object will make you complete but what ability.
Like suppose you are the perfect who can't cook for your life, then that would be the skill that would make you complete.
I'm sure all of us have something that we all have been wished we could do.. Like singing, having a good voice, or some talent or the other. And talent is something you're born with so in this case let's concentrate on something we can learn, instead of just wishful thinking.
For me, it would be learning some kind of martial arts and being so good at it... Like jujitsu or Thai kickboxing or something. That would be awesome!! I would feel complete then I guess..At least for now..
Anyway, what is the skill that you wish you could have at this point in your life??

Presently, I'm hooked in beaded jewelry making. I recently bought the materials through online and was pretty hyped up with it. This is actually my present hobby and I'm having a blast designing and creating my own.
I think I'm always on to something every year. Whatever catches my eyes and interests, then I will go for it.

Yeah, cooking, I don't cook myself, because the kitchen is pretty much my mom's domain and she doesn't let anyone in.. But when I do get a chance to try out recipes, they actually come out really good. I think I might have the gift..
Well, maybe next time you could cook with your boyfriend instead of just cleaning up after him.. That should be fun..

You don't have to be able to write brilliantly to write a good book.. Well, I hope you've started already, because there are editors and stuff to embellish your book, but the real story comes from the heart. So just jot your ideas down whenever you get them...
Good luck..

I'd dearly love to be able to play electric guitar. I was taking lessons, but making painfully slow progress. I gave up, took it up again, lapsed, and so on. There's an inner rock star that's just not reaching his potential.

I guess that what would make me more complete is the power to finish things. I have a lot of energy to start something but I have a tendency to get bored and not finish the project. I need to learn the power to stay the course and finish. If I have deadlines to meet then I can accomplish it, but on my own I waffle. Got to work on setting goals and complete the job on time.

To make some money when I want to. That would give me some resources to do many other things. I don't mean having a regular working job. But some other activities that could provide a decent income. I am working at it daily. And it does take skill, among other things.

Now that's a skill most people here would also wish to have...if you come across some secret to it, please share, because I've been trying to make money online since January, and the only place where I have actually made money is my lot...
Anyway, good luck with that..

The skill of getting friends to help?
Being a better webmaster, I actually don't know what I could be better at skill wise but I'm sure there's many more what I could think of given the time.

Yeah, friends do help each other out.. I try my best too, to help in any way I can and I have faith that my friends would do the same for me..
I don't like to take help unless I ask for it.. because if I need help then I'm not ashamed to ask for it... but if I don't ask for it, then that means that I'm okay, and then I really don't welcome any help...

Anything really.
Friends are meant to support each or at least I try to do that (more than most of mine) I'd actually aslong as I had time.
With that said I'm not always good with asking for help. :)

Okay. I know you are asking for that one skill that would make your life complete, but I think that I would like to list 2. The first one would be the ability to learn how to do something by reading instructions. I'm really a visual learner, and that can be really tough sometimes because it can be hard to find someone to show you how to do things. For instance, I have a friend who I taught how to knit. Now she is a much better knitter than I am because after she learned the basics, she just read how to do the more complicated things in a book that she picked up. I tried to do that myself and all that resulted was a huge mess of yarn, knots, and horrible holes in my project.
The other skill would be to pick up languages better. I am just terrible at learning foreign languages and it really is such a helpful tool in life. I really wish that I could speak Italian because I think that would be the best way to get in touch with my culture.

both very good skills. Well languages are difficult to learn once anyone is past the toddler stage, I think languages are learned best then... One of my sisters nephews is 2 years old and because of the multilingual family, he now knows three languages already.. I guess we pick languages the fastest when we're at that age.... Then it just gets harder the older we get... and it requires more effort.. Learning by reading, thankfully I'm good at that sort of thing..
Well, good luck with both your skills..

I thing still i'm not complete. I'm working on number of fronts to come close to be complete. Where i'm working i'm trying to prove that i'm really a hardworking guy. At home front i'm trying to prove that i'm a caring son. Few months back i got married, there also i'm trying to prove that really i'm a loving husband. So, it's not ending process. Life is a process where every day we face new problems and try to solve those. IT's difficult for every one to put a full stop some where.

The one skill I wish I had would be that of better verbal communication. Right now, I tend to stumble over my words on conference calls and in meetings because I get so nervous.

Hey vega first of all i want to congratulate you on starting this discussion....for me the skill i badly need to make me more nearer to perfection is communication skill...even though im ok at chatting in which u get time to think....during face to face talking i sometimes get numbed, meaning i just can't say anything...this usually happens whenever the person opposite me passes a witty remark..i can't seem to think of anything witty to reply him back...So thats one area i definitely like to improve
