Dale going to Hendrick. How soon?

I think he will stay with DEI untill the end of the year. I cant imagine Jr would let his team down and leave before the year is out. But like you said they say things and turn around and do what they sai they are not going to do. Did they say anything about what Kyle Bush might be doing now? I am at work and didnt get to hear anything othere then Jr is going to Hendrick... Keri

I think he will finish the year out with DEI. It would be hard for his sponsors to pick up and move so quickly. I also don't think DEI will let anyone out of their contracts before then. Kind of like their last stand. DEI thought Jr. was bluffing when he said he would leave, so I don't think they will just let him walk away There is also talk that Hendrick is in negotiations to try and get the rights to the #8 from DEI. We will see how that goes and what NASCAR has to say about it.

I think Jr and hi steam are going to wait. They still have to see if their sponserships are going to follow him or if he needs to get new ones. He has needs to find out if he is still going to drive the number eight car or have to switcch numbers. But I really don't see this as a last stop for Jr. in his career. He said eventually he will be driving the number three later in years.

I am really excited about the announcement. I think Dale Jr. being on a team that is doing so well can help him get a championship. I do believe that he is going to be professional about all of it and drive for DEI and possibly drive a little better with his outlook looking brighter.

I think it's best for Dale Earnhardt Jr. to wait.Ever since he made the announcement of his leaving,the D.E.I.cars have been running pretty well.It doesn't seem wise to jump to another organization and screw up a bid at the Race For The Chase by trying to adjust to a new team and owner. Dale wouldn't lose any of the points that his earned thus far this year,but there's always a bit of a learning curve when working for someone else and that could be just enough of a problem to screw up a run at the end of the season . To be quite honest I don't like it anytime a driver fails to honor there contract.What good is a contract if it is meaningless? Unfortunately that is a reflection on our society in general and has an impact on our moral fiber over the years.

If either Jr or Kyle makes the chase, then they will stay in their current seats. If neither do, then I can see changes. My 6 year old Jr fan is thinking of finding a new driver because he can't see why Jr would be friends with Jeffy & JJ...
