Bird Poop

While sitting outside I started reminiscing about my childhood. We were talking about how pigeons poop all over and are just nasty which reminded me of when I was about 7 years old. We were at one of my mother's friend's house out in her backyard and I saw a big bird flying in the sky. I pointed at it and told my mom to look, just as she looked up she got splatted on the face with bird poop. Lucky for her she didn't turn her head just a fraction of an inch to the other side or she would have gotten it straight in her mouth. YUCK! Still to this day I have to giggle when I think of it, it was just so gross lol.
Have you ever been pooped on by a bird while outside minding your own business?

Not while i have been outside minding my own business, but I refuse to go into the bird atrium area at the zoo because it never fails that I end up with bird poop on my shirt if I go in there.

I have never been in the bird house in a zoo for that reason.

Luckily I haven't had this happen (knock on wood), but my mother has. LOL My mom had been living in San Francisco and she had been outside. She felt something tap her head. Thinking someone was hitting her with pebbles she looked around...but no one was there. She continue to do whatever she was doing outside when all of a sudden...TAP again! By now my mom was getting a little PO'd because she thought for sure someone was playing some sort of trick on her. She looked around again, but again there was no one in sight. Finally there was one last TAP! My mom was furious by now. She felt the top of her head and there she found bird poop. She looked up and sure enough there were a bunch of sea gulls she hadn't noticed before. So my mom got pooped on 3 times in that afternoon. Talk about a sh*tty day! LOL
By the way, this happened some years before she ever had kids, so I never witnessed it firsthand, but I did hear the story a few times!

I've never gotten it in the face but have on top of my head. Thank goodness it was only a small sparrow. I go down to the park by the river sometimes to feed the ducks and geese. Occasionally they'll take off flying so one of these day I'm sure I'll get nailed badly with a big plop. It's just a matter of time.
It's not that big of a deal to me because I grew up with pet birds and spent a lot of time cleaning plops off my shirt or out of my hair.

Yes when I was at school. The road I walked through to go to school was fool of tree and everyday I've been pooped on by birds.
In my birth country When I bird pooped you we say is good luck. Imagine how lucky I was?
Imagine if the cow should fly how lucky would be the people them pooped on.

I think I would take bird poop any day over cow poop. At least bird poop doesn't smell so horrible lol.
