I'm looking forward to the new season. The first season was excellent, but the second season wasn't a season I'll remember favorably. The person that won had an easy win, as Marcal made so many mistakes that it wasn't close. I hope this season we have great cooks that can make many different dishes. I would have liked to see Sam win last year, but he didn't cook during one of the episodes.

I really enjoyed last night's premiere. I really liked Lia and Micah as well as Trey. Joey, I cannot stand. I felt bad for Clay, but as much as he was endearing, his skill was just not up to par with the rest of the contestants. I read that for this season they went to New York's elite restaurants to get contestants and snagged a couple of their head chefs. That kind of disappoints me because I like to believe there is an even playing field.
Oh, and I shall never, ever eat a black/blue chicken!

I'm pretty excited myself as well. I really like the show because I am always amazed with the things that the contestants come up with. Last season wasn't as good as the first season was though. I wasn't convinced that the right people where advancing or even won for that matter. Ilan might be great at Spanish food, but in my head a Top Chef should be more well rounded. Then again, I guess it was better than that foam obsessed guy winning. Lol!

I was looking forward to the new Top Chef season, but it has been a disappointment so far. I've fallen asleep every time I've tried to watch it. No one on there seems especially likeable or unlikeable, nor have their dishes wowed me. Maybe it'll get better.

I agree with Katrinka. Top Chef is my favorite show all time and after the fourth elimination I still do not have a favorite. Kinda boring me so far this season. Hope someone steps it up soon. (tre' maybe)
