Flowers everywhere

One of the first jokes I remember my dad telling me, I was probably four or five. We were at the park and he smelled the flowers and goes "wow, there was a blower (bl-ow-er)" and I said "Dad, there's not a "B" in flower" and he goes, "there was in that one!" pinching his nose so his voice sounded funny.

That is a lovely shot! I bet you were surprised to see the bee once you got it on screen! I really like irises as well. I have some blue ones in my garden but they seem to be mutating. They started off as blue with a little yellow, but over the years the colony is throwing up irises that have more and more yellow on them. It is strange, but lovely none the less!
