I was a victim of mistaken identity a couple of times. Once very recently. It can be annoying, embarrassing or funny. Sometimes even dangerous.
Do you believe there are doubles for everyone out there? Have you ever seen your double? What feelings did you have afterwards?

It can be annoying at times and I know how you feel. The town that I live in I see people all the time that thinks I am someone else they just say that I have a twin in town but never have seen her. But I do have a twin cousin the only differentthing about us isthat she has blond hair and I have brown.

I never did see my 'twin'. I've been told I look like my sister, but I see NO resemblance.

Well I don't know if there are doubles out there or not but I think that people can mistake people for someone they are not simply due to vague descriptions or similar hair styles.
I had a roommate once and the housing management would always call her my name and vice versa. It was strangethat people would mistake up for each other because I thought we looked nothing alike at all! The ONLY thig we had in common was long black hair. Our hairstyles were even different!
She was also two times heavier than me and very short and wore a different style of clothing than me.... It was so weird.
It can be dangerous.... You see that same roommate used this to her advantage and somehow took my id and used it to sign up to many things she had no intention of paying on. This created many troubles for me as I had to explain myself to many people to get out from the debt that wasn't mine. I ended up having to give her name to the authorities so that she could not do it to me any longer.

I've never gotten to see my doppleganger either. Sort of makes you wonder why everyone else gets to see them but us.

I would like to see mine. I don't think I want to meet her, though. I know there is only one ME, but it would be sort-of interesting to see my double.
