when people move to America and they become a citizen they are told that they can lose their citizenship at anytime. Obviously if someone terrorizes this country they should be kicked out, but that should go for EVERYONE not just people who moved to this country during their lifetime. But everyone is an immigrant to this country whether it was them or their ancestors who moved here! Besides, it's not where your born but where you have your allegiance to!

It's sad, but it's also a decent safeguard. Every case is different, but the American government's first priority is keeping the nation safe. Many (not all) immigrants are still fiercely loyal to their old countries, which is great, because it fosters diversity and shows the natives a little something about a different culture. That's how traditions are passed down, that's how we got most of our "American" traditions. But it crosses a line in wartime; it's then that a person has to choose sides, and the government would rather not take the chance that a person chooses the other side and does something about it. My family came here from Korea but they're COMPLETELY American, although still hold to the old customs and language, so it's a familiar situation.
Blessed Be

If you think about getting a citizenship in terms of signing a contract, how would you feel if you signed the contract with nothing about revoking a deal only to be told in the future that revoking could happen?
You can't change your word to people you've granted rights to in the past but you can change the conditions for those you are about to bestow those rights to.
