Coldplay's latest album?

well i have not much knowledge about his albums but i konw the song that i love very much and that is Yellow ohh... man such a nice song, when i listened it first time i become shocked that who is that singer from that time i become the fan of coldplay after that i listen his tracks his from new album the "speed of sound". this album was also nice album but i will say again that Yellow is a great track

Hi shomomo, Like you, i'm waiting eagerly for the next Coldplay album, I do like Chris Martin's songs and they do great music, only Coldplay does make public remarks on their song-making influences such bands like Echo & The Bunnymen, a-ha and Oasis to name a few.

X & Y which came out a two years ago, I think it was their third album and I heard they were suposed to have a new one out in the spring.

Yes, as the others mentioned above, the last one is X&Y. If I'm not wrong, Brian Eno is helping them with the next album.

I love Coldplay to itty bits! They have 3 albums, Parachutes (released in 2000), A Rush of Blood to the Head (2003) and the latest one was X&Y, released in 2005. There's a lot or rumors that a new album might be released later this year, but nothing has been confirmed and the official site (Coldplay.com) denies it. The folks that run the official site say that it'll be for sometime in 2008.

I've heard their next album will be out around 2008/9. I think they're terrible perfectionists, but I guess they want to get it 4th time lucky...
