you dont want to become anorexic...it really mess with your body, you knuckles get messed up, you teeth in the front start to get really bad cavities on the back sides, you mess up your stomach throat...you stomach as acids in it, and when you cause your self to throw up that acid eats away little by little anything thats in its path. You soon to be husband asked you to marry him the way you are, why would you want to change that. He obviously loves you for you!

I agree - your soon to be husband obviously loves you for who you are - but I understand the want to feel and look beautiful on your big day! I don't have any suggestions about any miracle diets - if there really were any wouldn't we all be thin?? By limiting you food and increasing your excercise your bound to loose some but don't risk your health - you'll regret it. Goodluck and Congratulations!!

anorexia is a bad idea.
me and a friend both went on a totally no eat at all diet. wouldnt eat for days at a stretch then have like one meal. i began losing like 3 pounds every 2 days.
and then comes the rebound, because you get happy with how you start looking and start eating again. my weight skyrocketed and i brought it back down through regular exercise and control.
my friend has become anorexic. he's started having health problems. we used to play hours of football together, even when we were overweight. now we're thinner and stuff, but he cant take the strain at all. his bones have become weaker too; he had a serious injury the other day.
dont go for anorexia. it is NOT a good idea. you either rebound or you take the big plunge. neither is recommendable.

eat lots of veggies and fruit, and drink lots and lots and lots of water it flushes althe bad stuff out; I lost about five ponds in two days just doing that, also do lots of cardio (don't be afraid to sweat) and strength traning(you don't need a gym membership just run around the block a couple of times and use milk gallons as weights)

Not eating is a foolish thing to do, especially since you were propsed to at your current weight, not some fantasy! If you want to drop a few pounds do it in a healthy way. First, drink tons of water to help clean out your system. Two, up your fruit and veggies. Three, watch your portions! Portion control can make a huge difference.

Don't go the anorexic route. A lot of gyms now have what they call a "bridal bootcamp" aimed at getting brides to be in absolutely stunning shape for the big day. Look into one of those possibly. Even if it isn't a "bridal" bootcamp, there are other types of bootcamp out there that will whip you thin in no time. Good luck and congratulations!

Anorexia is not a diet-it's a disease. To be totally, honest, a wedding is just one day in your life. I know you want it to be perfect, but the perfection should be defined by your happiness on this wonderful day, not by the numbers on the scale. Please take care of yourself-"diets" that you believe you have control over can quickly take control of you.

not to eat is the worst thing you can do if you want to loose weight, at least if you don't want to gain even more weight than you started off with when you start eating again. The best way is to excersise and build muscles. You should also eat healty and at least four meals a day. The best thing, though, is to realize that with your wedding dress on, and hair and makeup - you will be beautiful for your wedding no matter what you weigh!

Do you mean balaemic? Where you make yourself sick? That's SO not a good thing to do. Yeah, you'll lose weight, but your stomach acid will start to burn your insides and mouth and you'll look terrible for your wedding.
Do you have to lose weight? I bet you look lovely as you are, but if you do, how about that 'wrap' they do? The one where you end up feeling like a bit of leftover chicken all covered in cling film? That's supposed to shed pounds! Good luck! :)

Personally I am not anorexic but I can lose my appetite for days at a time. Not eating is the only sure way to prevent gaining wait. It is an ok solution but I IN NO WAY WOULD EVER DO ANYTHING TO SERIOUSLY HARM MY BODY. Good luck with whatever you do.

no! dont do that. i was anorexic before. its not something you just turn on and off when you want to. Watch what you eat, cut out pop drink LOTS of water, and workout. Even if its just walking or jogging. When is your wedding?

The best way is to monitor what you eat and exercise. Do not monitor what you eat to the point of becoming anorexic. I've done that and yes I did lose weight but it wasnt the best way. Eat healthier foods, monitor what you eat and start an exercise routine.

The only one I know can work quickly and safely is the "cabbage soup" diet. Basically, you eat homemade soup for like 1 or 2 weeks(you have to have cabbage in it for it's anti-oxidants but you can add just about any other veg to it) then you have set meals and gradually get back on to solids over 8 weeks but you can't do it for more than 8 weeks at a time. I think the people I know who have tried it have lost between 2lb and 1stone in the 8 weeks.
