my friend texted me last day about noodles..it says, instant noodles contain was coating which is also used in styrofoam containers..That's why instant noodles don't stick to each other when cooking. Our body needs up to 2 days to clean the wax. Make sure u stop eating a noodles for atleast 3 days after a session of noodles. This wax can cause CANCER..It was quite alarming right? I have also read this kind of discussion here that noodles really contains wax..It's not saying that we can't eat noodles, it's just we need to be careful with instant foods..please share your thoughts about this..thanks to my friend who shared this to me and i also wanted to share this to you..have a great day..

I eat instant noodles when i'm not feeling well but not so often, once in 2 weeks maybe. a firend emailed me a some tips on how to cook and prepare instant noodles. I want to share it to all of you.
The correct way to cook instant noodleswithout harming our bodies and health. Normally, how we cook the instant noodles is to put the noodles into a pot with water, throw in the powder and let it cook for 3 mins around and then ready to eat.
This is the WRONG method of cooking the instant noodles.
By doing this, when we actually boil the ingredients in the powder, normally with MSG, it will change the molecular structures of the MSG causing it to be toxic.
The other thing that you may or may not realized is that, the noodles are coated with wax and it will take around 4 to 5 days for the body to excrete the wax after you have taken the noodles.
CORRECT method, which you may or may not know, is to cook the noodles this way :
1. boil the noodles in a pot with water.
2. once the noodles is cooked, take out the noodles, and throw away the water which contains wax.
3. boil another pot of water till boiling and put the noodles into the hot boiling water and then shut the fire.
4. only at this stage when the fire is off, and while the water is very hot, put the ingredient with the powder into the water, to make noodle soup.
5. however, if you need dry noodles, take out the noodles n add the ingredient with the powder and toss it to get dry noodles.
Please share this info and help save a life.

I love noodles but i never buy the instant noodles.I prefer noodles fixed from the box and i boil them myself until tender.I also like spagetti ,which is in the noodle family.I do not think it was talking about these kinds of noodles...I would think it would be more like ramon noodles that would contain wax,but not the kinds you boil from scratch..or tje kind you get in the soup cups that you pop in the micro-wave..

I made a research on the truth and validity of the text message you and others have been receiving. This has been going on for years now. Here is what i found out:
This warning is a part of CHAIN LETTER TEXT whose originator was not mentioned. It started around in 2000, but the rumor has existed for decades. May i refer you to http://www.breakthechain....
and please read more on this before you should have published your discussion. Accordingly, there were no scientific bases for this warning.
An anonymously authored and haphazardly forwarded e-mail warning like this should never replace legitimate medical resources and your physician for health advice. Break this Chain.
It's up to the readers how they take this finding.
Thank you.

I just have wondered though if these are really this Bad, then why are the Health Food Critics not making a Big stink about this to where people might want to think twice about eating them. Sounds like something I think people need to research more indeed.

Is that true? Because my husband eats those instant noodles that comes in a cup almost everyday. Now I'm gonna have to make him stop eating it, but he loves it. I like noodles too, but I don't eat it as often as he does. I guess we have to get rid of it in our grocery list now. Thanks for the info.

Guess that's why I never liked the texture or flavor..*shrugs*
^_^ No worries, I only eat regular non-instant noodles..without the wax. Just flour, eggs, and the other stuff in noodles.

I already something like this (wax coating in noodles) a long time ago and I believe it is true. Unfortunately, it's not just noodles that are using this coating wax but also other instant packaged foods avaialble in the aisles of our supermarkets.
Well, we should always be careful with what we eat and not to overdo any type of foods. Eat fresh foods to detoxify the risidues from these packaged convenient foods.

I am one of those people that don't eat noddles even if there are a lot of them lying around. LOL! I also make sure that my children only gets to eat them at most 2x a week. Sometimes months would pass without me ever eating noodles. I know a lot of people like and mind you, I find them yummy too but I can't help thinking that my arteries would start to constrict every time I get to eat them or that the cancer cells in my body would start to multiply exponentially. LOL! Makes me pretty guilty and uncomfortable actually so I just avoid them as much as I can.

Hello cherriemae. I didnt know about this. I am not really fond of eating instant noodles but my husband is. I think this type of noodles should be banned from the market. More and more people are eating instant noodles because they have no time to prepare good food. Students eat instant noodles more often. This is not a good sign.
