I have a Chihuahua/Pomeranian puppy about five months old and he keeps eatting cat poop from the litter box..I have put of baby gates to stop him but he climbs right over it...anyone have any ideas!! I am at wits end and about ready to give him up!!

It is very common. Dogs like the smell of the richness of the cat food in the poop. I can only suggest that you remove the poop as soon as the cat makes. Or, a higher gate or confine him to a different area.

thanks.. he seems to get it when we are sleeping so I have gone to crating him at night or when we are gone! I hate it but.... it has to be done!

You have to look at it on the bright side. It will save you money in dog food as well as some time cleaning the cat litter.
