I believe that Mr.Ravi Shastri has refused to be the Indian team cricket coach spotting media commitments as the reason, do you feel that the BCCI could have done something to make him the coach considering the knowledge and expertise he posses, inaddition considering the recent results with the Bangladesh match were great.Could Shastri take up the responsibility to himself and give what it takes?Share your views. Thanks

I feel Ravi Shastri wants to continue to with his media commitments as he had only agreed to be stop gap coach for bangladesh series and was not seriously inclined to be coach and went to bangla tour as cricket manager. It is his decision but there are number of former players who could be coach of India like sandeep patil or mohiner amarnath.

It is because his commitment with the media circle. He earns more with commentating and appearing in TVs and writing articles rather than through coaching Indian team.
I feel that he is a good thinker of the game and should have been a better coach for Indian team rather than any foreign coaches.
