watching anime for kids only?

Well I guess it's not... Because there's a lot of anime today is strictly for adult only....

I have proof that it isn't for kids; My brother who is 43, love anime and got my kids caught up in that as well. I am not for that myself, but just to answer the question.

I don't think so.I'm an adult person but now I'm still a big fan of anime.The only change is that now I have more time and money to see various anime works. I remembered when I was young,I received a Tom&Jerry viedo and everyday finished dinner,my parents and I watched this anime.This cartoon is really classic and funny.Not only me,but also my parents enjoyed it.

It also depends. Nowadays, teenagers just like me or even adults have the authority to watch anime. There also kids who watch also such animes. I think animes are for everybody. Neither you're minor or adult. It's just a matter of habits and favoritism. For me I like animes which is more on concept and it has a sense...

anime is often confused with cartoons, which generally appeals more to kids. but anime has so many genre's that you can find one that appeals to anyone! that's the reason why i love anime so much.

I don't think anime are for kids. Cartoons are probably made for kids. But anime is more for older audience. I am assuming that your definition of anime is a collection of the Japanese cartoons. In Japan, anime are like drama series. If you watch a lot of anime, you'd see that the materials, topics, contents, themes and discussions are aimed towards adults more. It's really interesting actually. What is it that makes anime different from regular cartoons anyway?

No its not only for kids. Many Adults are watching anime :)
