a girl needs help

if the guy is good and will keep her happy and is ready to marry her and take her to his home and if his parents are ready to accept her thn i think the best thing for ur frnd would be to sprint and get married... whts the use in staying such torturesome place with such manic people.. if shes major i.e. 18 yrs which is leagal age for marriage in india thn she can definitely get married without interference frm police or family... but ur frnd needs to make sure how her bf is or else she would enter into one more trouble and life will b miserable again...

In the country that this is happening, is she of legal age to marry? Is she allowed to get married on her own without her parent's consent? Does the guy treat her well? If all of the above applies, perhaps she should get married. But, definitely, she needs to get away from that family. If she is not old enough to marry, there should be an agency or some kind of authority that can keep her safe. It's been two years since your post and I hope everything is well with her.

She should contact the authorities immediately. Or you as a concernec friend should contact them for her. The police need to know what is going on.

how old is she? if she is of legal age (18 in most countries), then she can establish a life without her family. at any age, though, she should be able to escape abuse. you or she can probably try to find a women's shelter where she can find solace.
