Election for top post in India on July 19

well, our belover president Mr. APJ has already told that he is not interested in continueing as president any more, i think he is dumped by polititions( as published in THE WEEK),even though no candidate good currently, but if he don't want to become president, i think shivraj patil, current central home minister, may become the first person of the nation!! will see what happens...

I agree with you completely..I am an Indian living in Kuwait and sadly can't vote..but I would have voted for the biggest scientist in india,Mr.Abdul Kalam..he is an inspiration for the younger generation and for the poor..

Yeah i would say that i agree with this situation.

I think the person nominated by Congress will be elected as teh next president as they have go tthe confirmation from many local parties regarding the support. Mr. Kalam was good but it is usualy a norm not to have a president for the second term.

Well...Everyone would prefer Dr.Abdul kalam for tat matter, but the thing is tat he himself is withdrawin from the post..So, can't help it...I would prefer Dr.Amartya sen as our next president!!! He is educated enough and knows the economy of our country very well and would do everythin under his power to equip our nation economically!!! :)
