Why do people get tattoos?

because they like them. why would you let some set of religious rules set down over 1000 years ago decide what you do with your life. We no longer live in a world where people aren't allowed to think for themselves.

For some of us our bodys are our story board and the tattoos tell the story....Its a form of expression to many of us ya know...HOwever, sadly there are ppl out there who do it jsut because a friend did or whatever which IMO is a MISTAKE especially if you are young....But for most of us, including myself, tats tell the story of our lives OR they remind us of somethign specific OR maybe its in honour of someone/something etc etc...

Because freedom of self expression, because they think of their body as a canvas to paint.To tell a story through the art of ink.

i dont really have idea why they make tatoo

the main reason for tattoos nowadays is taht it is considered cool by today's teens as a sign of rebelling...Before it was done mainly by the pirates who lived centuries ago

maybe have special meaning for others.;) different country has different customs.
