which type of pool is better

ok i want an underground pool but thats not going to happen lol. we have been looking at the ones at walmart for like 300.00 the kids have saved money for either a pool or trampoline. they decided on a pool. they have the one that has the blow up ring and it is 18 x 4. then they have one that has metal bars that go around the outside that is 15x 4. we are thinking that one will be the best. it comes with everything you need for both of them. filter, pumps, chemicals, ladder, etc. i keep thinking the one that you have to blow up the outer ring might not be good for long term. i am not sure though. what do you think?
