The main tourist attraction in the town of Capas which is in the province of Tarlac is Mt. Pinatubo. For tourists the adventure begins with several kilometers trek of the O'donnel river bed which is matted with large boulders and sands from the latest eruption. then the assault to the peak which leads to the grand prize a marvelous view of the crater lake. recently the local government together with foreign businessman who owns a spa at the village closest to Mt Pinatubo constructed a road that makes the trek shorter. Do you think this road will help boost tourism or will it just spoil the fun of conquering the mountain and the challenges it has to offer?
