Who am I?

usually when u ask people who they are they will tell u their name , profession, posting, or whether they are rich or poor young or old. but the real answer would be differen. all the above things is what the 'I' acquired after birth it got a name, rank, in society etc. but 'who areyou' is a question worth pondering upon. and id i try to explain then this respose will become more philosophical.
