which is more effective actions of drug generic or brand name? Some patients would want to but brand name but some prefer generic depeds on the budget. But mostly, the said that drug with brand is more effective than generic drugs. I'm confused does anyone would want to share their views?

Theoretically there should be no difference in the effects of the generic and branded medicines. In making medicines, pharmaceutical companies should make their medicines based on international specifications. However, some companies follow the specifications only in paper but their products do not actually pass the standards. So instead of looking at the brand, be concerned with the company who made it. If you can trust the company who made the generic medicine you will be better off than a branded one because of the cost.

i usually buy generic meds because its cheaper than branded meds. But they say that the effect is really diffferent but as you said some product do not pass the standards.

What is do is I try several generic meds from different companies. Normally I find more than one which has the same effect if not better than the branded ones.
