tivo or cable's dvr

I haven't used the cable dvr but I have tivo and I love it. It's my other lover. I've gotten to the point if i don't have anything recorded then i don't watch tv because I know there is nothing on i like. Then if I'm watching tv, say at work or somewhere that doesn't have tv, whenever a commercial comes on I always reach for the remote..everyone looks at me funny. It's the good life.

Tivo is the way to go I have two Tivo's and I don't know what I would do without them. I tried the cable DVR I wasn't impressed, the quality, the monthly fees. Tivo, you buy it and no monthly fees. It's great, and cable is not.
