Poor College Students

I have a friend who is currently paying out of state tutition and she is having money difficulties. She will most likely have to take a year off from school to work and save money. What are some legal and reputable ways for her to make money while still attending school. She is also in a very hard, time consuming major so she cannot work constantly.

There are many ways to earn money while studying. She could give tutions to small children. She can baby sit and earn money. she can look after aged people and earn money. Finally she can approach a philonthrophist and get some donation.

Thanks, I think I will mention the tutoring option to her....however the philanthrophist sounds like the best option. I doubt that would work but hey you never know.

She may be able to get some extra grants or need-based scholarships if she is having financial difficulties. This will depend largely on her family status and whether she is independent.
