What did everybody think of the episode?Personally I really enjoyed it, first of all, I was not expecting an episode I would enjoy at all, the reason for which was last year's "doctor-lite" episode-Love and Monsters, was god awful, it made me want to switch off the TV immediately, and didn't let up with it's eye exploding, brain implodingly bad script, casting and acting. Oh, and the absorbaloff is quite possibly the stupidest "monster" I've ever heard of, I am appalled that that was the best that could be designed by Britain's kids.
This episode however, was brilliant. The acting by Carey Mulligan was amazing (she's also very pretty, which doesn't hurt!) the story was brilliant, different, and quite moving in places, especially seeing Billy again in 2007.
What did you think?

Well I always enjoy something about them even it's just for the humour.
I do agree that sometimes it's weak but far better than most sci-fi programs and doctor who has always had a charm of having daft monsters and scripts. The older series used to throw them in by the dozen in and it's a lot better thought out now.
Personally I did like that episode I thought the angels was an interesting idea. except they wasn't at all scary and I didn't see the point of sending someone back in time and acting like they'd rip your guts.
I still enjoyed it.

I thought it was wonderful! The girl was a great actress. I thought the angels were sufficiently scary. At least, scary enough that I was talking to the tv and telling them to hurry. I loved it when the Tardis vanished and the angels were trapped looking at each other for all eternity.
I am glad that it was so much better than Love and Monsters from last year.
I think my favorite one from this year is still the Shakespeare one. This one is a close second.

I agree with everything you said! Carey provided a brilliant job acting, the monsters, whilst not scary (I'm never bothered if they are or not) certainly were interesting, and had a great little story behind them. This and the Shakespeare Code are my 2 favorite episodes of the series.

This episode was fabulous. I loved the editing and the writing! I wish Steven Moffat wrote more of the Doctor Who episodes, because he really understands the way Doctor Who should be and his episodes are my favorites. (He wrote The Empty Child/Doctor Dances two-parter and The Girl in the Fireplace.) He is just a bloody good writer. (His new show Jekyll is brilliant!)

I thought this was one of the better episodes (which is saying something as Dr Who on a bad day is still v v good!). I loved the twists in it - you were always left wandering how it all came about and why her. Then at the end you saw that she gave the info to the dr who went back in time and set it up like she said it had been set up because it had already been set up for her! Really played with the whole time travelling thing well and the angles were cool. Very different to most monsters and how they were trapped at the end was very clever. It was also quite sweet with her and her friend's brother!

I thought Blink was one of the best episodes so far. It was tense, full of twists and turns and very clever. I liked the monsters, who doesn't find those statues of angels you see in graveyards creepy? and the way they disposed of people was very clever. I really like Carey and found myself thinking she would have made a good companion for the doctor.
Scariest bit is when their watching the DVD in the house and they both look up to see the angel nearly standing over them. I jumped, honest. I must be going through a second childhood, ill be hiding behind the sofa next!

I thought it was brilliant. One of the best episodes yet. I don't know how people think the angels weren't scary? They chilled me to the bone. Especially when you saw them come to life.
The acting was good, and I was wondering how it was going to work out, and it turned out to be a time twister where something had only happened in the future, or something! lol It was a great episode, as was the one tonight with the master (which I just watched.
