exactly my point. i see it pointless if my posts are not even read or rated for that matter.

I don't consider the number of responses very much when I respond to a discussion. But I have a fancy to repond to discussions with zero responses, speacially my friend's ones. I also enjoy reading more than responding. If I did not read at mylot my rating today would be over 3000 and not a little more than 2000. Mylot is like a book on Geography to me.

just simply respond whether they are going to check or not, it is not your lost it's theirs.anyway ,whenever you answer you get a point and you earn.do not mind what they do just mind what you do, that goes also in real life, it would make your life easier.

i still make replies to discussions with more than a hundred responses specially if the topics are of great interests to me. i can't say they do not read all those posts but they really are answering you back with their comments. mostly those who are in my friend's list are actively replying to responses on their discussions. i must say that they should be admired and appreciated of for their efforts in finding time to recognize you as one of their respondents. one friend i would like to acknowledge is lordwarwizard for his being diligent in answering responses to whoever replies to his discussions.

I think posting a comment is a good jesture showing you are a real person. Weather they are responded to or not. Comments show good will and encouragement. They make people smile. They separate you from just bieng a list. The smiles they can bring and frendships they can start are priceless

Actually, I have a day for just commenting back to my topics. So, I still have the chance to read all of their responses. If they have not read my comment, its still ok for me

Yes. I do. I have the habit of checking all the responses of my discussion and I believe that other too will do the same. If they dont, I cant help. I can just share my view on the topic, thats all.
