orphaned kittens

I have a problem. I found two orphaned kittens that are only about three weeks old. I have dogs. I'm a dog person, but I couldn't let these little kittens starve. I found them yesturday near death. I've been feeding them kitten formula through a syringe every three hours. They are responding very well, and are becoming more playful each hour. This is my problem. I called all of the cat rescues here in the city that I live in, as well as the humane society. The humane society told me that they would just euthanize them, and the animal rescues told me they had no foster homes available and that I was pretty much on my own. I don't like cats, and sure don't want to keep these ones. I would never be mean to a cat, and have become foster mom for two orphan kittens. I need to find someone to take these kittens when they are old enough to go to a forever new home. I just wish that I had some more help with local humane society and animal rescue.

In our area people put free kittens in the paper all the time. I would try that. The humane society and other animal places around here aren't much help either.
