How do you keep your belly button (navel) clean?

Lately, my navel have been a bit itchy and when I stared at it, whoa man(!) some dirt are stucked in. What do you use to clean your belly button without hurting it? Any good techniques? Perhaps I should take a bath at least twice.. What do ya think?

after bathing, i usually clean my navel by dabbing a cotton bud in a cup of boiled water mixed with salt and apply it gently around so the fluff will be moistened and removed. be careful not to prod and poke too much.
