Oh sorry I meant to say I'm not getting married. Oh and not pregnant either lol. Maybe i just wanted your attention. lol
I like to see who reads the whole discussion before saying anything. So please congratulate me and tell me how you react when someone close announces their big day!! Whether it be marriage or getting pregnant or having a baby. How do you react?

Thats Great! would be my reaction, getting married is a wonderful thing, being pregnant is wonderful too because it is a gift from GOD. Though people reacts negatively, i dont do that. A lot of couples who are married and cant have children are those people i think more about. So if you are a woman and you got pregnant thats GREAT!
My honey loves kids and wants to have them with me, i do pray that i would be bless with wonderful kids.

Well i have only ever known one person get married and it was my brother who had been engaged for 8 years when he announced he was getting married so my response was "yeah sure, i'll be looking forward to it, just hope i'm not old and scenile (is that how you spell scenile? if its not then you probably have no idea what i'm talking about and just think i'm some sort of lunatic that you will probably report to mylot or the police because you think i'm gonna come to your house and chop the top off all your carrots so they go moldy) when it actually happens. this time it turned out to be true and i was very happy for them and it was a very nice wedding.
Well congratulations, whens the big day?

My first comment on something like that is to say "I didn't do it".Call it a defensive method.I would like to congradulate you on getting people's attention though.Judging by the number of responses you have received,it has worked!

Well mssnow,
You don't have to do much to get my attention. Although, I do however see your point. I've even caught myself only reading a portion or two.. of someones discussion before responding. I think what happens in that case is that I get riled quickly before finishing the read, respond anyways.. which is a bad habit. I try to force myself to read all topics. But, if you were to watch me in action. (reading your discussion) You'd think to yourself.. "old habits die hard" or "Can't teach and old dog new tricks". Not saying that I'm ancient... just saying..!

LOL - you had me going there for a second shocked at the pregnant thing but was more upset about the getting married - I thought we were looking for twin men one for each of us :) Did have to read this one really close before responding.
Truthfully, I do sometimes 'skim' discussions.

LoL Snow. You didn't get me as I always read the whole discussion before I respond. If someone really were to tell me they were pregnant I'd say congrats, and about getting married I'd say good luck! They just might need it!

Very true! I have been really lucky and have a great husband. I feel like the luckiest woman in the world to have him as my life partner.

Hello, mssnow,as from your profiles, you are only 7 years old,i will be surprised if you get married and are pregnant at this age.:P
Not only i will read the whole discussions,i will always check the user profiles to make sure i am replying to a man or woman as i have read a discussion about mistaking a female mylotter into a male one.

I had to look twice and think good gawd princess that was QUICKETY quick! I was just about to ask where's me invite when I read further down, when someone announces their big day, I look at them with sympathy lol only joking, I'm cynical in that department as you know. I just smile and say congratulations (and breathe a sigh of relief that the child is not mine and the ring on the finger is not mine either!)

Cute attention getter. Had me going for a minute there. I always congragulate someone who is going to have a baby and tell them how great that is. I have never met anyone who didn't want to be pregnant but if I ever did I would remind them how special a baby is and that it is a gift from God. But everytime I have been told a family member or a friend of mine is pregnant they are radiant because they are so happy about it. So I congragulate and give a big hug and a kiss and tell them how happy I am for them.

I can sense your joy when I first saw the topic. Yes, you did caught my attention, after having read so much about you and here you are, screaming you are suddenly getting married and pregnant! I read on to see what's next. lol.
It depends on who make the announcement. If it is my partner, I would be shocked. If it is from a friend whom I am expecting such news, I would jump, congratulate and hug the person. If it is just anyone, I would be nonchalent and just offer a word of congrats.

Congratulations! I can't believe that you are finally getting married, with a baby on the way! I am so excited! How far along are you? When is the big day? I get to babysit, right?
This is pretty much how I tell all my friends and family how great it is that they are not only getting married, but expecting, too. This was a good discussion, thanks for trying to catch us!
