Hamas or Fatah?

Israel now has an opportunity for security. Hamas has control of Gaza and Fatah is rounding up all the Hamas members in the West Bank. Should Fatah be successful in the West Bank they can make a meaningful peace with Israel. The world knows Hamas is a faction of radical Islam totally hostile to Israel and very dangerous to both Israel and Lebanon. This leaves Israel with the opportunity to completely surround the Gaza and take actions against any more future hostilities from that area. This of course may lead to more Hamas action from Lebanon but this time the Lebanese Military is in place to intervene. Any or all or these moves would unfortunately mean more casualties for innocent Palestinian civilians however lets not forget that Hamas has done this to the Palestinian people itself as many are sure to blame Israel. It is now time for Palestinians to begin voting with their feet, quickly. Should Fatah secure the West Bank? Hamas would have to go through Israel to attack them. That will not happen!
Now is the time for the most brilliant diplomats and politicians to work towards a serious resolution or let the enemies of Hamas destroy them once and for all.

Unless there is money involved I don't see those brilliant diplomats and politicians doing a damn thing. I'm afraid Israel is always going to be dealing with the Islamic people's hatred and will have to basically take care of themselves. Now, if they had oil on their land I'm sure the US would be there in a minute!

There is money involved. The U.S. has billions in military arms contracts with Israel. No more Israel means no more arms deals. If it got bad enough the U.S. will have boots on the ground. Guaranteed!

You act like the arms dealers and developers are part of the military... They aren't... they are their own free companies.

Yes you are right Mr. NiceGuy. The arms manufacturers are their own "free" companies as you called them. Well, how is it I was "testing" new arms in actual combat. I did this in both Vietnam and Israel while "in" the military. For some reason the military nor the auto industry was willing to let me "test" a new Jaguar, so I asked for a "GM" product. They did not have any sense of humor about this at all? FYI, The US arms industry is "controlled" by our government. I know what I speak of. You too can get the "facts" if you do the research. You don't even have to be in the military as I was. However, they won't let you test anything at all. The only "test" you'll get will be with your patience and knowledge of how the Military and industrial complex works in this country. Don't get me wrong. I am very patriotic and always will be. Other countries are nice to visit but, you'll soon want to get home.
