I was so saddened to discover that my topic entitled: "A letter from an unborn baby". was deleted. It was a beautiful letter. It was deleted for an alleged reason that I violated some guidelines. But mylot never explained to me which guideline. I already write them a message about my inquiry but I never received any response. Actually, As far as I am concern I did not committed any mistake and that is why I was wondering why mylot deleted my topic. My intention is very clear. And I know even Pope Benedict will agree with it. I'm a pro life person. And that's the messsage I'm trying to portray. I just apologized to those moms that have undergone abortions. I know they were offended. And that is why my apology. The lesson I learned in life is not to commit murder specially abortion and that's what my topic is all about. now tell me, where is my violation there?

i would say that your topic was deleted for being overly offensive, when you start a topic with the intention of alienating, degrading and generally punishing people for acts that they felt necessary (abortions) what do you expect?
your view might be that a feotus has a right to life as much as you and i do, but not everyones view is the same, and to start a topic saying that it is undinably wrong, and to tug at the heart strings of others by placing it in a way that an unborn child would do is dispicable.
being jugemental of others is not the way to go about in life, fine you don't agree with things that others do, but then again just by being religeous, you are doing something that i don't agree with, but i don't sit here typing about how there isn't a god, and all those who have faith are dissolusioned so maybe i should start a whole topic on that?
lets see how fast that one could be deleted eh?
oh and by the way, just for referance, i have never had an abortion, but i understand the reasons that others have for doing such a heart rending and painful thing.

It could be that the unborn baby should not have apologized to all the women who underwent abortion. It should have been addressed to those whose boyfriends, husbands, and parents forced them to get one. It should have been done in a way so that the women were not blamed. The ones who were offended were those who regarded abortion as a way of relieving a problem and also someone who was forced to have one does not wish to be classed with someone who was not. I am against abortion, but I do not think a poem is the way to go. I assume many get abortions because someone or circumstances forced them to or neglected to tell them where to get help, someone to look after the baby, the best adoption agencies.,etc. And they were probably angry because had they known of these things, they would not have had the abortion. Also the popular feminist mindset is for abortion and there are more of them.

ok, I got your point. that is why I posted an apology topic to these ladies. At least I got an explanation from you. thanks for the enlightening. But one thing for sure, I don't condemn women who were forced to undergo abortions. I do understand them. I just didn't know that there will be a negative reaction on this letter. Again, thanks.

actually i have not read your discussion about the 'letter from an unborn baby' but i am also saddened by its deletion. i may feel the same thing if one of my posts have been deleted without any valid reasons at all. as you have done your part by contacting mylot admin, let's wait for another day or two for them to come up with their explanation. as far as i know, mylot usually delete some topics or discussions by request of other members who have posted earlier the same discussions as yours, or perhaps there were responses that mylot feel are objectionable, inflammatory, or might hurt other people's feelings. these are only my presumptions. not until mylot come up with their explanation we remain to be skeptical to issues like this.

maybe someone reported it for abuse... in that case i think they don't give explinations. and i think it's the only reason for which they can delete discussions.
