Dog food or table food?

Ordinary families here in the Philippines feed their dogs with whatever leftovers after they finished eating their meals. I think only few of the richer families feed their dogs with the expensive dog food available in stores.

Our dogs love his dog food, however our other dog loves homecooked or table food. We try to feed them dog food & table food but make sure that it is safe to eat and will be good for them. A dog needs variation at times because it can sometimes dislike the food if it's the same everyday. They enjoy lots of different food too. =)

Welcome to mylot! I feed them store brand dog food, but I mix in the uneaten vegetables from dinner. It's just as good as feeding them an exspensive dog food.

They get the Sam's Club dog food and of course scraps of table food too. How dare I have meat and not give each at least a bite? No, they wouldn't forgive me that, I'm sure.

I want my dog to be healthy, so I try not to give him too much people food. I usually give him a little something each night with his dog food, but it's usually chicken, but he is happy with whatever he gets.
