for so many times that my boss (a roly-poly female duffer) was yelling at me in order to make herself looking good and i see her just taking steps to take her own grievances out on us instead of interdict being such a delirious berserk lameduck. has this kind of matter occurred to you before? and how would you deal with it?

I have learned long ago not to let people walk all over me. There are ways to get your point across to that you think they are being rude/disrespectful. I have actually had this happen with me and my boss..he made me take a week off with no pay..but I let him know what he was doing that I thought was unfair. There's a fine line between being disrespectful in return and just standing up for yourself. Don't let your boss push you around.

absolutely. however in certain circumstances that my job is not allowing me to stop what is already in hand and start disputing back. i guess i am just too task-concentrated which caused me lots of unwanted hassle. anyway standing up for myself and do not let my roly poly boss push me around now officially carved into my dictionary. many thanks

it is good that you have learned to have this value in life early on. it will never feel good to be trampled upon. this is one thing wchih can even cause us to lose our self confidence and in our talents and capabilities in life. these people who have no second thought about making others miserable just do not realize the ill effects that they have caused or is causing in some persons. these are very selfish persons who only think of themselves. there is a need for some people to wake them up from this attitude that they have.

for real! they will get an eye for an eye which see theirselves through a mirror by me reflecting it (despite there won't be much listening in that they still my superiors and i am supposed to take orders from them and all that jazz)
i might literally go try to be more assertive while compromising to my boss next week once my sick leave finalised. thereby they will have my very unique 'self-esteem' hehe

talk to your boss about this disturbing attitude that she has. if this happens to me that is the first thing that i will be doing. if she will not take it kindly and will even treat me more roughly, you can see me looking for another job. i do not see any point in holding on to some work wherein the environment is very disturbing. we need to work in a friendly environment in order to come up with good work outputs. if my boss cannot understand this point, then there is only one solution to the problem...and this is to get out of it.

true my friend. customers won't come back if your subordinates give them grieves and simple subordinates won't stay loyal if their superiors munipulate their feelings!
